Meet Your New Favorite Duo Streamers, Zias and BLou!

 If you don’t know who these loveable OGs are already, I got you covered, as I’ll give you a crash course into their rise and switch to fame. This duo has been in the game for almost a decade now, starting back in college as teammates at the University of Tulsa. Zias (Zik Okocha Asiegbu) and BLou (Bishop Louie) meet each other while on the rosters of the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes football team, presumably around 2014, when BLou was a true freshman and Zias, already a Senior. Both seemed to hit it off well enough to become friends and eventually create the YouTube channel ZIAS! A reaction channel that mainly based itself on good vibes, music reactions, and some of the best meme clips on the internet. These two have been pioneers for the YouTube and music community for a long time now, and while things have changed, one thing for sure is that you’ll always get their most authentic selves. 

Speaking of change, their content has shifted with the times as well. As of 2020, streaming on all platforms has become the norm for quick clips and gradual following. Your favorite content creator has either been on a stream or has streamed on their platform at a certain point, and the same can be said for this duo. When they aren’t posting on the main channel, unless a huge music drop comes out, they now have brought up a 2nd channel, MoreZIAS. This channel was made 7 years ago, but within the past year, its viewership has grown with consistent uploads of stream clips from Twitch. Which is the 2nd part of the equation. On Twitch, Blou has his channel where both appear, along with many special guests. 

With the exponential growth that is the new form of online creation, whether it be podcasts or streaming. Its overall acceptance by any audience can create newfound joy for certain creators. And while I'm not saying that it’s not relatively new for these two, I just think with the consistency that both can produce during this time, they have seen either older fan returns and newer fans being exposed to them. You can also say it plays a big role in clips that can be seen all across the world. How much of their social media team can produce different events happening on stream with the two of them is remarkable. You could say that their rise in the streaming world could’ve been something that, years ago, you could’ve seen coming. 

While the duo isn’t the most popular and stick to the niche that they have thrived in. It doesn’t take away the accomplishments that both have done during their come up. From reacting and collabing with the biggest artists in the game to putting their true selves onto the internet and letting their actions speak for themselves. So, if by chance you find yourself trying to figure out what to do on a Friday night trying to chill, just hop on Twitch, and I bet you that this duo will have something in store for you, something you wouldn’t expect.
